As Congressman Kawada's private secretary, Hirose's duties include managing correspondence and scheduling engagements, as well as turning a blind eye to the congressman's extramarital affairs. Despite his position, Hirose finds it challenging to ignore the latest man who has caught Kawada's attention. Hirose is initially confused when he is met with hostility upon meeting the young man.
In an attempt to better understand the young man's past, Hirose uncovers a suspicious suicide connected to fraudulent activities and embezzlement. He becomes resolute in protecting Akira Tano from Kawada's advances, but Hirose is taken aback when the congressman unexpectedly attempts to seduce him instead.
