Kasumi was bestowed a name that the gods favored, for her protection. However, when her village was plagued with drought, she was singled out as the human sacrifice to beseech the gods for rain. Although her parents were heartbroken, Kasumi didn't falter and went ahead. Initially rebuffed, she persevered and refused to return until her village's pleas were heard. Now determined to become a fairy of the heavens, she is willing to spend a millennium mastering cloud riding. Time is of the essence, and Kasumi knows she must begin her journey right away.
