Hina, a popular university student, lacked experience with "true love" and struggled in matters of the heart. Taking up a part-time job at the izakaya "Yokikana," Hina was unexpectedly kissed by a drunk Chii-san at his welcome party. The kiss was undoubtedly intense and surprisingly skilled, leaving Hina shaken. Struggling to come to terms with his feelings, Hina purposefully avoids Chii. However, Chii has no recollection of the kiss and misunderstands Hina's behavior, thinking he hates him. They continue to awkwardly pass each other, but eventually, they open up to one another and become a couple with a newfound understanding.
