As spring unfolds, Nishiwaki Haruka realizes she must repeat her sophomore year in high school because of various accidents and illnesses that held her back. In hopes of a new beginning, she switches to Yamabuki High School, letting go of her old circle of friends. However, while playing a friendly baseball match against her previous school's team, Haruka surprisingly reconnects with some of her past classmates. After Ono Kenta, her new schoolmate, uncovers her predicament, Haruka reluctantly accepts the responsibility of both a manager and a player for Yamabuki High's struggling baseball team to avoid exposure of her secret by Kenta.
