Hibiki is taken captive by a band of female pirates in a world where men and women are sworn adversaries. Stranded with a state-of-the-art ship they christen as the Nirvana, the group embarks on a journey to the female homeland. On the expedition, they stumble upon "The Harvest" and the ominous prospect of the annihilation of both sexes. The manga diverges markedly from the anime, with fewer personages and emphasizing the connection between Dita and Hibiki.
