Haruka Nagashima, an OL, persistently toiled ceaselessly but felt unproductive. Her fate worsened after she was defrauded in a marriage scam and squandered her savings. Additionally, an awful misjudgment at work threatened to cost her employment. Fortunately, all of this took a positive turn when Ichijo Manyo, the president's daughter, intervened and offered her aid. Despite their variances and undisclosed pasts, they embark on an unstable journey together. The question remains: will Haruka restore her life or swim in an abyss of hopeless despondency?
