After ten years of strenuous training, two young ninja dogs with the ability to transform themselves underwent rigorous field testing to protect their new owner, Mitsuyoshi, from ferocious demons without revealing their true nature. Despite their success, Mitsuyoshi mistook them for stray pets and renamed them Hanzou and Hadzuki. However, Hadzuki's close encounter with evil confronted her with a dilemma that made it difficult to distance her dual identities from Mitsuyoshi.
