In school, LeaYoung Shim is nicknamed the "zombie boy" because he is constantly physically abused by his classmates. This mistreatment has made him emotionally detached and isolated from society, both at school and at home where he lives with his father's friend's family. However, his life takes a significant turn when a group of individuals called "Schwarz*" arrives, led by a real zombie, aiming to extract the Evil Spirit Jade that resides within him.
