Flower Thieves is set in a desolate world where humans and demons waged war in the past. Thousands of years later, the remaining humans live a dystopian existence in the overcrowded Upper Hose city. Flowers and plants are a rare and valuable commodity. When a vicious creature, dubbed a "Flower-Thief," attacks Jechika, a mysterious girl, Maxi, a young boy, saves her life with a forbidden ARM weapon. Maxi is consequently exiled from the city for using illegal technology. Joined by Jechika and Gi, a florist, Maxi sets out to restore nature's balance and revive the barren earth.
