Keita gained the ability to see ayakashi after becoming lost as a child, a gift from an unknown source. Despite being a grown-up now, he still perceives certain individuals as mystical entities not comprehensible to ordinary human beings. While sipping coffee at a cafe, Keita notices a man with a fox-like appearance, complete with ears and a tail. Intrigued by the unusual sight of a male fox, Keita unwittingly offends him, but the two will soon discover that their fates are interwoven more closely than they thought.
