Even though Seriu Ichiro was the middle school’s student body president, he remained overshadowed by his accomplished older sister, Rei, who also excelled in high school. He was disillusioned by the responsibilities that were attached to his position, and he longed for a chance to live without any boundaries. His desire for a fresh start came true when he enrolled at Yashio Academy, a brand-new school. On his way to class, he crossed paths with Hatsuse Sakuno, a fellow student, and unexpectedly, he was named the new student body president as soon as they arrived. At first, he was hesitant, but he eventually agreed, but only if Sakuno would serve as co-president.
