At the foothills of Mt. Fuji arose a peculiar "palace", spewing out an army of Youkai creatures. The declining population had resulted in severe labor scarcity, forcing the administration to assimilate the Youkai beings into society. Yet, it ignited a surge of conflicts between the mortal and the supernatural realm.
To counter the brewing mayhem, JSDF, seeking to widen its grip on public safety, furtively formed the "Tachikawa Task Force," a specialized Youkai penal tactical reaction brigade, to implement "tactical solutions" for the emerging societal issues.
