As a child, the young boy possessed an enigmatic watch that enabled him to command Youkai. However, as he grew older, he lost the ability to perceive these supernatural entities. His task was dutifully fulfilled and the watch was subsequently sealed away in the fabric of space-time. But three decades later, the peacefulness of everyday existence was shattered by the sudden appearance of a comet, signaling the approach of an ominous day. The nefarious Youkai virus known as Onimaro rapidly spread throughout the populace, infecting them with malevolent intentions. The one who is selected by the Youkai Watch is humanity's sole hope for salvation. Their mission is to restore the connection between humans and Youkai, torn apart by Onimaro's influence. This manga is based on the fourth Youkai Watch film which debuted in Japan on December 16th, 2017.
