The doujin by the creator of Hidamari Sketch is simply charming. It depicts the adventures of two young, furry-eared beings on their way to a flourishing Yusuraume tree, also called the Mountain Cherry tree. Though the genders of the characters remain uncertain, their delicate characteristics imply that they are both female - a recurring pattern in the author's other creations. Throughout the story, the characters' hips are emphasized in several frames, and both have delicately feminine eyelashes. Trained admirers of Aoki's characters will observe resemblances between these entities and the pretty Hiro and more masculine Sae.
