During middle and high school, Yuzuki Hamura excelled in track and field, becoming a standout athlete and dominating the National Championships as a college student. His focus, however, was strictly on pole-vaulting, and he struggled to function as part of a team, despite his natural talent. This fixation stemmed from a comment made by his former teammate, Jin Akishima, who had likened their bond to a connection with the sky.
