Following his mother's passing, Kanji moves to the rural area to live with her relatives on her side of the family. It's an arduous task adapting to a different setting, but it becomes even more difficult as Kanji is plagued by sightings of ghosts and monsters, which are ubiquitous. Adding to the mix, his peculiar uncle Benjirou, who is known to experience spells of illness, is always causing some form of mischief!
