A new student, Aoi, has stirred up excitement at Vlad Academy as she enrolls in search of her childhood friend, Yuuna, who she had lost touch with for six months. Aoi hopes to reignite their friendship by attending the same school as Yuuna. However, to her surprise, Yuuna reveals that she and all the students at Vlad Academy are vampires. Despite this revelation, Aoi accepts her friend's true identity, but Yuuna warns her to keep her human self secret from some of the less friendly vampires on campus.
Even though it's a struggle to pretend to be someone she's not, Aoi is determined to persevere through any challenges so that she can spend time with her friend. She's even ready to challenge the oppressive social hierarchy that rules over Vlad Academy.
