In 15th century Rome, there was a war between humanity and witches. After witnessing the barbarous killing of his parents by a witch, Nikola realizes that he holds the solution for victory. With his extensive knowledge of sorcery, Nikola must bring back the "First Witches," a dozen potent witches, to assist him in the battle against the foe. However, to arouse these witches from their deep sleep, Nikola must enter into a marital contract with each one. The destiny of the world lies in Nikola's ability to marry as many witches as he can.
