In a different version of the 60s, there are two major global powers - the Zirnitra Union and the United Kingdom of Arnack - competing to become the first to send a human crew into outer space. The Union's top-secret Nosferatu Project involves using vampires as test subjects due to their similarity to humans but with added fear and repulsion. Union soldier and aspiring cosmonaut, Lev Leps, is responsible for overseeing vampire test subject, Irina Luminesk (known as N44), but finds it challenging to emotionally distance himself from her. Will Lev and Irina face the pressure and danger of the project to become first in space?
